Jowl bacon is cured pork cheek and prized as the ‘other’ bacon.  Jowl bacon can be fried/baked and eaten as main course or used similarly to such as in a traditional English Breakfast.  Often, it is used as a seasoning for green beans. black eye’d peas, leafy green vegetables or collard greens.
